Summit Declaration 2016

At the end of the Vision Europe Summit 2016, a declaration was presented to the public.

The Vision Europe partners have agreed that a new approach to the migration situation is necessary. Action should be at all levels: global, European, national and local. The declaration "Building common ground: Towards strategic migration and refugee policies in Europe" is based on four strategic directions and four main axes of policy recommendations:


STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS

A. Create political will to develop a forwardlooking EU strategy on migration.
B. Develop coherent and fair mechanisms for better managing migration flows. 
C. Promote work and education focused integration that strengthens social belonging. 
D. Mobilise the whole of society to promote inclusivity.
